SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS

1. St Aloysius Gonzaga School hosted ‘Dashing Dolphins-2023’ the AICS Inter-School Swimming Competition (Association of ICSE and CBSE schools of D.K and Udupi Districts) on 22 September at St Aloysius College Swimming Pool. There were 34 schools with 331 students participating from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts associated with AICS. St Aloysius Gonzaga School emerged as the overall school champion.

2. Students of St Aloysius Gonzaga School participated in the CBSE South Zone Swimming Competition organized by CBSE held at PSSEMR School Davangere, Karnataka from October 30th to November 2nd and won medals.
Under 17 boys: Saatwik Nayak Sujir has won 400m Freestyle Silver, 200m Freestyle Bronze,100m Freestyle Bronze, and 200m Backstroke Bronze and qualified for the National level.
Under 11 boys: 4x50m Medley Relay- Harjith M Karkera, Nandan M Karkera Avaneesh Nayak Sujir, and Aaric Jake D'Souza won the Bronze medal.
Under 11 girls: 4x50m Medley Relay-Gold Medal and 4x50m Freestyle Relay Silver medal by Shanvi K, Sudipti Sunil, Diya Naik, Elisha Janice D'Souza were qualified for the National level.

3. Students of St Aloysius Gonzaga School participated in the AICS Chess Competition 2023 organized by the Lourdes Central School on 9th August 2023 and emerged as the Runner Up in the Under 17 Category

4. Tasmayi M Shetty of Class VI participated in the CBSE South Zone Skating Championship organized by CBSE held at National Public School Kalaburgi, Karnataka from 19th October to 22nd October 2023, and won two Golds in 1000 mts and 500 mts.

5. Yuvaraj D Kunder of Class VI participated in the CBSE South Zone Skating Championship organized by CBSE held at National Public School Kalaburgi, Karnataka from 19th October to 22nd October 2023, and won two Golds in 300 mts and 500 mts.

6. Saatwik Nayak Sujir of Class IX participated in the 49th National Junior Aquatic Championship 2023 organized by the Swimming Federation of India held at Bhubaneswar, Odisha from 16th to 20th August 2023, and secured a gold medal in the 200 meters freestyle relay event.

7. Saatwik Nayak Sujir of Class IX participated in the Junior Aquatic Championship 2023 organized by the Karnataka Swimming Association, Bangalore, held from 30.05.2023 to 02.06.2023 and secured Gold medals in the 4x100 meters relay and 4x200 meters relay, Silver medals in 50mtr freestyle and 4x100 meters medley relay and Bronze medals in the 100-meter freestyle, 200-meter freestyle, and 200-meter backstroke.

8. Hannah Rose Fernandes of Class VII participated in the 1st National Inter District Roller Skating Championship organized by India Skate held at Mohali from 27.04.2023 to 02.05.2023 and secured a Bronze medal

9. Tasmayi M Shetty of Class V participated in the 60th National Level Skating Championship organized by Karnataka Roller Skating Association held in Bangalore from 12th December to 22nd December 2022, and won two Gold and one Silver medal.

10. Yuvaraj D Kunder of Class V participated in the 60th national level skating championship organized by Karnataka Roller Skating Association held in Bangalore from December 11 to December 17, 2022, and won two Gold and one Silver medal and qualified for the national level skating championship.

11. Hannah Rose Fernandes of Class VII participated in the CBSE South Zone II Skating Competition organized by CBSE held at B B Hanji International School, Belgaum from 04.12.2022 to 08.12.2022 and secured a Bronze medal in a 1000-meter rink, under 14.

12. Tasmayi M Shetty of Class V participated in the 38th Karnataka State Level Roller Skating selection trial organized by the Karnataka Roller Skating Association in Bangalore from 16th to 19th Nov 2022 and she won two Gold and one Bronze medal and qualified for the National Level Skating Championship.

13. Hannah Rose Fernandes of Class VI participated in the 38th Karnataka State Level roller skating selection trial organized by Karnataka Roller Skating Association held in Bangalore from 16th to 19th November 2022 and won Two Bronze in 3k Road and 5k rink.

14. Yuvaraj D Kunder of Class V participated in the 38th Karnataka state level roller skating selection trial organized by Karnataka Roller Skating Association held in Bangalore from 16th to 19th November 2022 and won two Gold and one Silver medals and qualified for the national level skating championship.

15. Felicitation to Hannah Rose Fernandes : Participated in 58th National Roller Skating Championship organised by India Skate - Roller Skating Federation of India at Mohali, Punjab and secured silver medal.
